The Victoria HarbourCats Foundation is pleased to announce the 2025 Board of Directors, a dedicated team of individuals committed to supporting local youth through baseball and community engagement. This year’s board brings together a wealth of experience, leadership, and passion for the sport and the city of Victoria.

Leadership and Governance


At the helm of the Foundation, Richard Michaels assumes the role of President, bringing a strong vision for growth and community impact. Assisting him in this mission is Tyler Boldt, serving as Vice Chairman, and Ian MacCaskell, stepping in as Second Vice Chairman. Their combined experience ensures a steady and strategic direction for the Foundation.


The position of Governance Officer remains vacant at this time, leaving an opportunity for a qualified individual to step in and contribute to the governance and operational integrity of the organization.


Providing essential organizational structure, Alejandra Franyutti takes on the role of Secretary, ensuring seamless documentation and communication, while Samantha Wilson serves as Treasurer, overseeing financial stewardship and fiscal responsibility.



Events Committee


Events play a pivotal role in the Foundation’s initiatives, and the Events Committee is tasked with organizing and executing these crucial engagements. Alex Burns, as Chairman of the Events Committee, will lead these efforts, with Judith Eithier supporting as Vice Chairperson.

The marketing and communications efforts for the Events Committee will be spearheaded by Keilan Dobish, ensuring that the Foundation’s message reaches and engages the community effectively.


A strong team is required to manage the logistics and volunteer coordination necessary for successful events. This responsibility falls on the capable hands of Francis Peujio, Jordan MacDougall, and Sean Thomas, who will work together as Events Coordinators to ensure smooth operations and high levels of community involvement.



Looking Ahead


The 2025 Board of Directors is set to lead the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation through another impactful year. With a focus on supporting youth sports, fostering community connections, and strengthening the role of baseball in Victoria, this team is poised for success.


The Foundation welcomes community support, volunteers, and potential new members to help fulfill its mission. Stay tuned for upcoming events and initiatives that will make a difference in the lives of young athletes and the broader Victoria community.
