VICTORIA, B.C. – Men’s fastpitch is making a highly anticipated return to Victoria as the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation, in partnership with Emery Electric, prepares to host the 2025 Emery Electric Fastball Showcase. The event, scheduled for May 31, 2025, at 4:05 PM, will take place at Wilson’s Group Stadium at Royal Athletic Park, bringing elite fastpitch action back to the city.

The showcase will feature a high-profile doubleheader between two powerhouse teams: the Sooke Loggers, a top-tier Canadian team with their sights set on a National Championship, and the Lacey A’s from Washington, who are gearing up for the 2025 ISC World Championships later in the summer. The game is expected to draw considerable attention, as it will feature current and former Canadian National Team players, adding to the intensity of the competition.

Organizers say the event is an exciting opportunity for fans to witness top-level fastpitch talent while also supporting the growth of the sport in the region. The Victoria HarbourCats Foundation, known for its commitment to baseball and softball development, aims to use the event to further its mission of fostering community involvement in the sport. Emery Electric has joined forces with the Foundation to ensure the continued success of fastpitch events in Victoria. Without their support, this event wouldn't be possible. More importantly, their contributions with the Foundation will go directly towards financially helping kids be involved in youth sports, giving opportunities where there previous were none.

“This event is about bringing world-class fastpitch back to Victoria,” said a spokesperson for the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation. “It’s a chance to see elite athletes perform at the highest level and to celebrate the sport’s rich history in our community.”

Fans are encouraged to mark their calendars for what promises to be an exhilarating evening of action-packed competition. Tickets can be purchased online here. On the day of the event, 50/50 tickets are available as well with the proceeds benefitting the Victoria HarbourCats Foundation.
