Victoria, BC -- The highly anticipated 50/50 raffle at the Victoria HarbourCats games at Wilson Group Stadium was an astonishing success in 2024. Over $130,000 in tickets were sold, and over $50,000 was raised for community sports, initiatives, and projects. This success propelled us into 2025 with a goal of raising over $150,000 in 50/50 ticket sales, and raising $100,000 overall for the community in 2025.
"The proceeds of this year's 50/50 program is going to make an astronomical difference in our community. We've been able to produce incredible numbers last year, thanks to our partnership with the Victoria HarbourCats and their dedicated fanbase, which will make a difference for a lot of kids and families by eliminating financial burdens of sports - something that not all families can afford. In addition, the community will also received donations towards food banks, children's hospitals, hospice care, sports associations, and other charitable organizations. I'm very proud of our dedicated Board of Directors and what we're doing right now; this is what charity is all about." -- Tyler Boldt Vice President, Victoria HarbourCats Foundation
